Join BWOB at SXSW
Join us in Texas for the South by Southwest Festival! Since 1987 SXSW has shown that the most unexpected discoveries happen when diverse topics and people come together.
Date: Monday, March 13, 2023
Time: 4pm to 5pm Central Time
Featured Speakers: Our panel, nominated by our friends at Sapphire Ventures, is moderated by Fortune Magazine Editor Ruth Umoh in conversation with BWOB members Gina Loften, Shannon Nash and Merline Saintil.
Venue: JW Marriott Hotel, 112 East Second Street, Ballroom 5.
After-Party: Join us for a private networking reception from 6pm to 8pm hosted by our friends from Capital G at their nearby Google office.
Hotel: No room block, so book whatever earns you loyalty points.
Attire: If you’ve been looking for a reason to wear your new boots… Seriously, you can’t go wrong. Some opt for more business casual festival attire while others are ready to step into a board meeting.
Social Media: If you post online, please use the hashtag #BWOBatSXSW so that we can possibly amplify your voice.
Access: Because this incredible panel is part of the official festival programming for SWSW, ticketing is involved independent of BWOB.
You can review options here for passes that grant you access to full days of programming for all of SXSW (March 10 - March 19). Because our session will not be available online, you’ll need to buy one of those festival passes, all of which grant access to our panel.
That said, we’re working on getting a handful of comped passes to just our panel. So if you know you’ll be coming to Austin just for our panel and reception please contact Jared Morris at jared@bwob.io before you buy any festival pass, to get on that wish list and see what’s possible.
Regardless of what you choose or what’s available re: the 4pm panel session, you’re welcome to join us for the VIP reception and dinner the night prior and then the Monday night reception / after party.
